JReader's Motivation

Being a Japanese student myself, I've long since been pained by the lack of easy-to-read Japanese content. The problem is that, Japanese, consisting of Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji requires an immense amount of knowledge to be able to be read. Comparing it with languages that use that latin alphabet (or versions of it), you simply cannot understand the text before you learn the characters. JReader aims to solve this by reducing the amount of characters you need for the articles we have as well as automatically adding reading hints (furigana) and dictionary lookups.
