WhoisAlive.app's Motivation

I work as a remote developer and the only connection between me and my team is slack. what if in next day I'm dead. how do they know it ? so I thought there should be a platform that everyone can go and update there existence in daily basis. so others can check the profile in here and if there is no updates that means user is not alive
